Evaluation of joints on thermoplastic pipeline parts – Sleeve welding with incorporated electric heating element (HM)

This supplement contains the assessment of Electrofusion welded joints (HM) in pipeline construction (e.g., gas-, water-, sewage-, industrial construction, domestic installation and geothermal pipeline systems) that have been welded in accordance with guideline DVS 2207-1 (PE-HD), guideline DVS 2207-11 (PP), guideline DVS 2207-15 (PVDF) or guideline DVS 2207-16 (PA-U12). This guideline can also be applied to other materials (e.g., ECTFE, PB). The specified evaluation criteria are based on experience with pipe diameters up to 630 mm and can also be applied to larger dimensions.
